THE
GREEDINESS OF MAN
Environment is no one’s property to destroy; it’s everyone’s
responsibility to protect because we might not have a society if we destroy the
environment. Planet earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs,
but not every man’s greed. Man's greediness onto the environment has been
manifested in some many evil actions and to some extent these acts are done on
a daily basis.The greed we have showed to the environment shall render it to
hide some of the best things we are supposed to receive from it. Everyday,
man's greediness causes gross threats to the environment. Threats that have
costed us more problems sometimes that would be prevented. The environment is
the source of man's happiness but however this he has never been realized
it and therefore a lot he has done to satisfy his greedy gluttony selfish
needs.
Aggressively to meet man's interests of economic and cultural
interests, the outcomes have been of great danger to the environment. It's
believed that thousands and millions of intoxicants are emitted, dropped into
the air, water bodies, landfills and other parts of the world. The need
to have food,money,good looking things has characterized man with greedy
characters of wanting to exploit the earth and do all sorts of acts that so as to get what he needs. In the industrial
areas, the skies are filled with black fumes and white fumes which affect the
cool chilly fresh air we breathe at the expense of manufacturing commodities that are even of
great danger to human health. Swamps being cleared to establish factories
to manufacture products that we would
get through natural from natural means on the other hand.
The economists will come in the name of developing society
which has accelerated the greediness of man for wanting to develop himself as
he thinks yet behind the pages of reality, he is killing and suffocating
himself by putting the environment into danger. The environment acts as life
supporting machine and without it we are
at the verge of facing the negative harsh consequences. The economists also
believe that money is blood to everyday lifestyle but however this is not true
to a larger extent. When God was creating the world,nature was prioritized
first over any other thing and hence man was given a role protecting and
managing everything on planet earth but not to destroy it as it now in the
current generations.
Nature and it's components is what makes and completes our existence on planet earth but man's greediness has motivated him to create and manufacture other components that God Himself did not think about to put in this world. These man made components have proved to be of great danger to our health and environment. For example Genetically Modified Organisms are hailed to be the easiest and quickest way of accumulating food in society but in real sense scientists have proved that some foods for example foods gotten from GMOs are not good for our health and the procedure passed through to maintain genetically modified plant is so dangerous nature. This is because its characterized by massive and frequent spraying of the crops. The sprays are a danger to the soil and what lives in the soil.
One may be looked at as an enemy to development when questions
are raised over some few means of development. This is because many means have manifested
themselves to be tools of man's greediness And to some extent these means of
development should be dropped because they of great danger to the societies we
live in
It takes few minutes, hours, days, weeks and months to drop that greedy act or acts and embrace positive ones that have great positive impacts to the environment.All we need are small changes in our behaviours to change the society in regards to environment protection
