When God was creating the earth he separated water from the main land then why would you want to go against the orders your master by destroying what he put in place. He did it with a reason therefore stop that habit of I have the money so I can build in the wetlands. our going going against your own master!!!!!!. water is always found in low leveled lands like wetlands. Wetlands are simply pieces of land that have been with water. This water can be fresh or salty water. Examples of wetlands include peatlands, marshes, ponds, edges of lakes, mouths of rivers or deltas. Wetlands are a critical part of our natural environment because they act as purifiers of water in an environment. Wetlands protect our shores from wave action, reduce the impacts of floods, absorb pollutants and improve water quality.
They also provide a natural habitat for animals and plants and many contain a wide diversity of life, supporting plants and animals that are found nowhere else. The destruction of wetlands will simply mean an increase in the costs of treating water especially in the larger cities. It will also lead to increased floods, the displacement of wildlife as well as an increased scarcity of food because some certain food stuffs are gotten from the swamps or wetlands
